Abstract EN

This research aims to identify (the reality of employing teaching strategies in Google educational platforms approved in the departments of history and geography).

To achieve the goal of the research, the researcher used the descriptive approach and included the research community (394) professors and professors from the departments of history and geography in six faculties of education in Iraqi universities (Babylon - Al-Mustansiriya Baghdad - Karbala Kufa - Qadisiyah).

The history departments consisted of (220) professors and professors, and the geography departments consisted of 129 professors and professors.

The researcher chose the base sample with a percentage of (30%) from the history department and (39%) from the geography department, so that the history departments were appointed by the basis of (70) professors and professors and (60) professors from the Department of Geography, and thus the total sample base is composed of (130) professors and professors from the departments of history and geography in the six colleges of education in Iraqi universities.

The researcher took (60) individuals as an exploratory sample from the original research community from the College of Education, University of Karbala, to apply the questionnaire to the professors of the departments of history and geography after the questionnaire was described for the five-point Likert scale.

And then employing the research tool (the questionnaire) consisting of (5) domains and (57) items after extracting its validity and stability and the relationship of the domains to the item and the degree of the domain and the items that became composed of (55) items with its five domains The researcher used the statistical treatments and means to complete the research procedures and show the results, which include the percentage, chi-square, Pearson correlation coefficient, Facronbach's method or equation, weighted mean and percentage weight.

The study showed the following results : 1- Employing professors in the history department, the method of lecture and discussion, on Google's electronic educational platforms.

2- The employment of professors in the Geography Department for more than one strategy in Google's electronic educational platforms, due to the different nature of the educational material in it from the history department.

3- The Google Classroom platform helps professors give accurate assessment to students.
