The Holy Qur'an is the first source of all Islamic sciences, and among these sciences is the science of jurisprudence, and it needs sources to explain its rulings, and the first source for it is the Qur'an, and not all the verses of the Qur'an have the same feature in explaining the scientific legal rulings, but there are verses that indicate this meaning.

These verses are called the verses of rulings, as we have explained, and scholars differed in the number of their verses.
