Abstract EN

The aim of the research is to identify The degree of employment of synchronous and asynchronous electronic discussions in teaching Arabic for the intermediate stage in the holy city of Karbala governorate, as well as to identify the level of employment according to the two variables : gender difference, and difference in secondary schools.

From all the male and female Arabic language teachers in the excelling and distinguished secondary schools in the Holy Karbala Governorate, which numbered (38) teachers, And a female teacher with (18) teachers in male schools, and (18) female teachers in female schools, provided that the research sample includes all members of the research community.

They are : the requirements of synchronous and asynchronous electronic discussions, their importance, and their applicability.

After collecting the data, it was unloaded using appropriate statistical means for the nature of the current research, such as weighted medians, and percentage weights.

The results of the research showed that synchronous and asynchronous electronic discussions are of interest to Arabic language teachers, and they have electronic expertise that qualifies them to employ them in the educational situation, but they see the possibility of application difficult, The results also showed the absence of statistically significant differences according to the gender variable, and the presence of a statistically significant difference in favor of the outstanding male and female secondary school teachers in the holy governorate of Karbala.
