Abstract EN

The aim of the current research is to identify 1: perceptual discrimination among students with learning difficulties.

2- There are statistically significant differences among students with learning difficulties according to the gender variable (male-female) on the cognitive discrimination scale.

In order to achieve the objectives of the current research, the researcher has built a cognitive discrimination scale, which consists of (30) items.

After verifying the psychometric properties of the research scale and its paragraphs, it was applied to the basic research sample of (200) male and female students with learning difficulties in the center of Babylon Governorate for the academic year (2021-2022).

The most representative of the original research community and after analyzing the data statistically using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS), the results resulted in the following : 1- Students with learning difficulties have weakness in perceptual discrimination 2- There are no statistically significant differences in the perceptual discrimination of students with learning difficulties between males and females.
