The current study aimed to identify the obstacles that prevent the implementation of transitional services for students with intellectual disabilities in the apprenticeship stage, as perceived by their teachers and their families.

the study sample from Dakahlia governorate reached (93) parents and (18) teachers, Alexandria governorate (27) parents and (15) teachers, and Qalyubia governorate (78) parents and (14) teachers thus, the total sample of the three governorates was (198) parents, and (47) teachers for students with intellectual disabilities in the apprenticeship stage, which included the identification of obstacles to the transitional services provided to students with intellectual disabilities in the apprenticeship stage (prepared by the researcher).

about that there is a discrepancy in the expressions of the study sample, where the averages of their responses ranged between (1.62-1.89) and these averages are located at the medium and low level (to some extent-no), where the phrase "free" came the school administration focused on the participation of parents in determining the necessary transitional services for their children" in the first rank, with an average value of (1.89), the second phrase "the workshop teachers lack training in the field of transitional services" with an average of (1.86), and this indicates that the obstacles that preventing the implementation of transitional services for students with intellectual disabilities in the apprenticeship stage from the point of view of their teachers and families, its responses are average, as the general average was(1.72).
