This research deals with depicting the hand of god, which was depicted on the late Roman and Byzantine coins, and it is one of the Christian symbols that appeared on that coin and among several other Christian symbols.

however, this research presents some examples of this symbol and some explanations that may be the reason for its appearance on those and when it appeared.

and did it appear during the rule of the emperors from the beginning of the Christian religion, or after their death as a consecration coins, and did this symbol appear in different forms or in one form, and did its form differ on coins during the late Roman and Byzantine period, as it was usual to depict the coronation of the gods for the Roman emperors and this depiction appeared a lot on the Roman currency until we find the disappearance of the coronation of the pagan gods in the late Roman empire and the beginning of the appearance of the hand of god crowning the emperors on the late Roman and Byzantine coins.
