The terms stylistics and poetics are Western terms, but they have roots in the Arab thought, so they can be found in the structure of speech (advancing and delay, omission and reference, definiteness and indefiniteness, etc.), figurative language (metaphor (real and conceptual) and simile), and in Budaiya types (anagrams and counterpoints, and the equivalence, and other devices of are verbal and semantic enhancers) that reflect the phonetic aspect of the text.

This means that these two terms are extended from Arab thought but with modern terminology.

Within the movement of the term and the nature of the conceptual cycle, the path that the language takes to reach the term can be simplified as a leap from the general to the specific.

The research here is based on the study of stylistics and poetics according to the theory of Abdul Qaher Al-Jurjani in the systems in his two books (Dalailat the Miracles and Secrets of Rhetoric).
