The Islamic heritage in architecture and interior design is an honest recording of the culture of society.

it is a product of the material heritage and aesthetic formations that have continued and proven their originality and value in the face of continuous change and successive artistic revolutions.

the Islamic heritage has left us many plastic vocabularies that have become a fertile source for every designer, artist and creator to benefit from them, each according to his specialization.

interior design is one of the fields that has been influenced by the Islamic heritage since ancient times.

it combines material facts and emotional feelings- that is, between the logic of construction and the logic of life for each era.

therefore, many designers tried to find a language of communication between our contemporary present and our prosperous past, which carries within it the essential features and original genes for building a contemporary civilization in this research, the results of the study were applied to the interior design of some service spaces (restaurant and cafeteria).

the design philosophy relied on harmonizing the functional and aesthetic values of the Islamic heritage vocabulary.

some internal modifications were made to achieve the functional content, and some decorative items were selected and attempted to be abstracted so that they would not lose their identity and incorporated into the design of some items and elements in the interior space.

these designs were implemented on the ground.
