On march 11, 2020, the world health organization announced the spread of the coronavirus and declared it a global pandemic, leading to a global economic crisis.

education is considered one of the most affected sectors by this global pandemic, as traditional face-to-face teaching transitioned to remote learning to adapt to the circumstances of this period due to the unique teaching methods in the field of interior architecture design, which rely on the direct interaction between students and instructors, this research aims to evaluate the experience of teaching these courses remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic.

the research utilizes a descriptive-analytical approach and involves a sample of students for statistical analysis.

it covers five aspects, including the characteristics and features of remote learning, practical, technical, and social preparation for the remote learning environment, and the evaluation of the experience of teaching practical subjects.

the research presents the mechanisms and methods employed by instructors of practical subjects, despite the rapid changes during the pandemic and the surrounding circumstances of the experience to be evaluated.

in the end, the research reviews the learning outcomes for the sample study and concludes with a set of results and recommendations aimed at evaluating the experience.
