This research aimed to measure the effectiveness of using scamper strategy in developing mathematical thinking skills for the pupils of primary stage, the research sample was chosen from the fifth grade students at Abe Hanifa elementary school affiliated to the Arish educational administration in north sinai.in the second semester of the academic year 2020 / 2021.

the research sample consisted of (62) students, divided into (30) students a control group and (32) students an experimental group, and this research included four chapters, the results of research revealed the effectiveness of using scamper strategy in developing mathematical thinking with its skills (induction, deduction, relational thinking, reflective thinking) for the pupils of primary stage, there were statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the students of the experimental and control groups in the mathematical thinking test in favor of the experimental group's scores, and there were statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental group in the mathematical thinking test in the pre and post applications in favor of the experimental group's score.
