Abstract EN

The current research aims to reveal the differences death anxiety in light of the corona pandemic among the academically gifted female students in the four teams at the faculty of education, Suez university.

the following study tools were applied: 1.

the death anxiety scale for university students in light of the corona pandemic (prepared by: the researcher) 2.

the interview form for academically gifted students (prepared by: the researcher) 3.

rotter’s projective test (Abbas, 2001) on a sample size of (443) academically gifted female students, their ages ranged between (19: 21) years, with an average age of (20.57) and a standard deviation of (0.67) the results of the study in the following: 1.

death anxiety in light of the corona pandemic is highly prevalent among academically gifted female students 2.

there are no differences between the mean scores of the members of the four teams (all students) on the death anxiety scale in light of the corona pandemic 3.

there are differences between the average scores of the members of the four teams (literary students) on the scale of death anxiety in light of the corona pandemic in favor of the three teams: (second, third, fourth) 4.

there are no differences between the mean scores of the members of the four teams (scientific students) on the scale of death anxiety in light of the corona pandemic 5.

the presence of differences in the personality dynamics between the extreme cases on the death anxiety scale illustrated by the projective rotter test.

this study presented a set of recommendations.

one of the most important recommendations of the study is the study to build counseling programs (behavioral cogniteve and religious counseling) for academically gifted university students.
