The aim of the current research is to determine the effectiveness of a program based on the employment of alternative assessment in the Arabic language subject in developing the life skills of fourth-grade students in UNRWA schools in the Gaza strip.

fourth, with statistically significant differences between the control and experimental groups in favor of the experimental group in each of (problem-solving test, communication skill observation card, and self-awareness scale), and in light of the research results, it was recommended that the need to develop multiple life skills in different educational stages, especially the minimum of them, through the employment of programs, strategies and learning environments based on alternative assessment.
