بعد أحمد عبد الكريم واحد من أولئك الأبطال الذين أنجبتهم البصرة الفيحاء، ليسطر أسمه خالدا كأول بصراوي يمارس المبارزة ويتألق و يسجل اسمه في سجل الرعيل الأول من لاعبي المبارزة العراقية.

أهمية البحث تتمركز بكونها محاولة علمية في البحث عن مسيرته الرياضية، و صحيح أن فترة تألقه قصيرة نسبة إلى زملاءه الآخرين، لكنها لها طعم خاص لازال يعيش الأمل في نفسه و ينشر الفرح في قلبه.

و يهدف البحث إلى التعرف على السيرة الذاتية وبعض مراحل حياة الاستاذ أحمد عبدالكريم السامرائي الرياضية والشخصية ودوره في تاريخ رياضة المبارزة العراقية.

أنه تاريخ مشرف لأبن البصرة الذي حرمه الزمن من الاستمرار بالتألق و الإبداع في رياضته التي أحبها، و بالفعل سجل أسمه وسط أولئك المبدعين من لاعبي المبارزة رغم قصر فترة ممارسته لها.

لذا فإني ايقنت أن الكتابة عنه و هو حي، يجعل الإنسان يفصح ويدلوا بدلوه من لحظات جميلة و أخرى حزينة مرت في حياته.

إنه النورس الفارس البصراوي الحزين المتألق بنفس الوقت.

English Abstract

Ahmed Abdul Karim is one of those heroes that Basra gave birth to Al-Fayhaa, to write his name Khaled as the first Basrawi to practice fencing and shine and register his name in the record of the first generation of Iraqi fencing players.

The importance of the research lies in the fact that it is a scientific attempt to search for his sports career, and it is true that his brilliance period is short relative to his other colleagues, but it has a special taste that still lives with hope in himself and spreads joy in his heart.

The research aims to identify the biography and some stages of the sports and personal life of Professor Ahmed Abdul Karim Al Samarrai and his role in the history of the Iraqi sport of fencing.

It is an honorable history for Ibn al-Basra, who was deprived of time from continuing to brilliance and creativity in his sport that he loved.

Indeed, his name was recorded among those creative fencing players despite the short period of his practice of it.

Therefore, I was certain that writing about him while he was alive would make a person express and give his opinion of the beautiful and sad moments that passed in his life.

It is the seagull, the sad and brilliant Basrawi knight at the same time.
