Abstract EN

The Islamic identity today is faced with several counter-propositions and contradictory thought.

the confrontation begins with westernized secular identities such as Marxism and liberalism..

the confrontation ends with the denial of the self-identity itself when it is presented from the Islamic point of view, so the talk about Islamic identity becomes a kind of selfishness and reactionary alike, and the calls for globalization, which are in fact, the dissolution of the special identity into one identity, which is the identity of the strongest, and the nations that want to remain are the ones who preserve their identity.

and the identity that we are looking for is certainly not a philosophy or an ideology, but rather Islam.

the Islamic identity is a divine approach and is not an alternative offered to us among other alternatives from which we choose what we want, just as Islamic identity is not a theoretical or abstract issue, but rather a pattern of perception and behavior together.

one is separated from the other, because it loses its effectiveness and impact if it is not embodied into reality it is not hidden from the thinkers and intellectuals of the Islamic nation that one of the greatest challenges facing the Islamic identity is the paradox between the same Islamic principles in behavior and commitment.

for the ability to distinguish between right and wrong and inability to take fateful decisions, which makes it an internal crisis that opens the door wide to various types of external invasion to destroy the Islamic identity.

which, in fact, faces two opposing currents, the first : external and gaseous.

the second : a closed interior, unaware that liberation from the dominion of western thought and not dissolving and decaying in it, does not also mean regression and closure, and if it is said that it is difficult to separate civilizational data from the nation that formulated it, we affirm that the Islamic nation in its first renaissance benefited from the nations that it was contemporary with sciences and knowledge that took it in its raw form and re formed it anew in accordance with its approach and perception.

here the importance of the method of selection emerges.

we do not want to import the values of others as they are to build our civilization upon.

here lies the real danger, defeatism, and regression presented in particular by some of the so-called representatives of the cultural and intellectual elite.

in fact, the first goals of those challenges facing Islamic identity throughout the ages is to dissolve the Islamic identity by eliminating the components of its entity and signs of strength in it, and containing it with the morals of weakness, decadence and permissiveness.

and if the continuation of the intellectual conflict and its perpetuation of heat is God Almighty's decree, then people repel each other, and strike falsehood with truth is also a fixed Sunnah of God Almighty's laws.
