he study aimed to investigate the difficulties of teaching physics at the secondary stage from the point of view of physics teachers in the city of Mosul.

The research community consisted of all male and female physics teachers in the secondary stages of the schools of the city of Mosul, who numbered (650) individuals.

The study sample consisted of (84) (84) male and female physics teachers who were chosen randomly.

The descriptive method was used to reach the goal of the study.

Accordingly, a questionnaire was prepared, the paragraphs of which consisted of several fields (the curriculum, the teacher, the student, the laboratory equipment) and by (30) items were distributed to the physics teachers.

After collecting information from the questionnaire and processing it statistically, the study concluded that the field of laboratory equipment ranked first, which states (many schools lack appropriate laboratories and laboratory equipment to teach the practical aspect of physics) in terms of teaching difficulties, and the paragraph in the field of the teacher ranked last, which states (teaching physics by other scientific disciplines).

The study also found that there was no statistically significant difference in terms of teaching difficulties according to the gender variable.
