Abstract EN

The study aims at investigating the effect of Contemplative Thinking in the mentally gifted student , in mentally gifted Schools in Baghdad, As well as checking whether there are differences in the level of Contemplative Thinking according to the variables of gender, and school stage.

In order to achieve the goal, the researcher used the descriptive approach, on a simple intentional sample It consisted of (50) male students, with (25) male students (25) " In order to know the Reflective Thinking in the students, the researcher adopts (Eysenck Wilson )scale which is consists of (30) items.

The results of the study was showed that the level of Contemplative Thinking among the students was high, meaning that there are Reflective Thinking among the outstanding students.

The results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the level of Contemplative Thinking to the gender variable.

However, there are statistically significant differences to the variable of the educational stage.
