Dialogue is one of the most important components of the fictional art, along with narration and description, and its importance is no less than them.

It is hard to find a novel which is devoid of this element, that uses varied, and the images of its writings and components varied too.

It is a supporting element for the other elements that make up the fictional text.

The dialogue is divided into two parts : the external dialogue (dialogue) and the internal dialogue (the monologue).

The researcher will study the monologue patterns in the novel 'Hams ALJosoor by the novelist Ali Al-Maamari.

Among the monologue patterns : soliloquy, artistic flashbacks, dreams, and silence.
