they are the men of religion and life.

among them are the imams, preachers, jurists, judges, muftis and counselors.

they derive their influence from being the guardians of religion and sharia, and from the society that appreciate them, and the state that respects them and hold their opinion and follow their doctrines in order to preserve a nurtured tradition.

this appeared with the establishment of the Andalusian society in the early Umayyad era in Andalusia, and it continued until the departure of Islam.

for this reason, jurisprudence was widespread in Andalusia, and jurists and judges formed a distinct class in society, and this class had a clear impact on society throughout the ages and this was obvious in many situations.
