Abstract EN

This study seeks to explore issues of monotheism and creed in the Chapter of Yusuf (Joseph), as expressed by Ya'qub (Jacob) -upon whom be peace- and his sons.

The researcher analyzed verses pertaining to issues of monotheism and creed and the call to them by Prophets Ya'qub and Yusuf - upon whom be peace- and how they both were devoted to - and devoted people to - Allah under all circumstances.

And how they did not fail in one instance to convey the message of monotheism and the call to sound creed.

Likewise, the verses wherein monotheism and creed are mentioned in connection with Yusuf's brothers are analyzed; as are those where there is mention of the traces of monotheism amongst the people of Egypt at that time; as are those wherein splintered (innovated) creed is mentioned all of which can be found throughout the noble chapter.
