The research aims to identify the efficiency of recreational services in the city of Safwan and ways to develop them, and to estimate the needs of recreational services according to local standards and the reality of the population for the year 2020 in terms of the number and types of services and the area they occupy.

the research relied on the field study in the first place and the use of statistical methods such as the neighborhood link for the main types of recreational services in the city, depending on the outputs of the program (arcgis 10.8), the research found the problems of recreational services in terms of their numbers, areas and types, as well as their distribution.
