Modern dramas indicate that presenting Greek plays in a contemporary manner requires relying on the modernization of one of the elements of the show, a number of them, or all of them, and since the theatrical performance is governed by change, starting with the Greeks and until now, the modernization of theatrical performance should be subject to contemporary concepts, currents and trends, and perhaps the actor's performance was basically subject to these The directional visions of contemporary filmmakers, which required us to assure each director who sought to confirm a type of performance consistent with the duration of the current to which he belongs, and since the Iraqi director sought to deal with theatrical performances from the old classic and presented them in a contemporary manner.

Therefore, there was no problem in this research, rather there is a question that should be To answer it according to the aforementioned, the researcher specified his research question as follows (What are the features of the contemporary performance of the Iraqi actor in the old classic shows) to answer the research, which is a scientific knowledge of the features of the theatrical performance of the profession of acting in our country .aims:.
