It was said that it was one of the houses in which Hussein (peace be upon him) stayed during his holy journey from Mecca to Karbala, and it was called Qasr Bani Muqatil, which was demolished and based on its ruins, Qasr Al-Akhdir in the Abbasid era, and it was said that it is 12 km from Al-Ukhaidir Palace.

It is narrated that in this house Omr bin Qais Al-Mashreqi and his cousin met Imam Al-Hussein (peace be upon him), and they spoke words that revealed their inability to support him, and he said in this place his famous article : "Whoever hears our consciousness, and does not respond to that, it is incumbent upon God to put him in his nostrils." in hell fire.
