A human image is one of the rights that inherent a person's personality.

it may not be produced or displayed without his consent.

the image is also linked to many other personal rights.

such as the right to private life and the right to human dignity, the legal mechanisms for protecting the image are varied in Algerian legislation.

among the detrent mechanisms in the criminal code and its regulation in penal and civil procedures in the civil code.

although all these mechanisms are combined, the protection of the image is still insufficient in the light of technological development and the spread of modern means of communication and dissemination.
