Abstract EN

This study aims to reveal the relationship between identity crisis and psychological adjustment in a sample that consists of 35 male and female adolescents, depending on the descriptive approach and the psychological adjustment and identity crisis scales.

the results reveal that there is a statistically significant correlation between identity crisis and psychological adjustment in the sample, and there are non-statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the scale items.

there are also non-statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the psychological adjustment scale's items at an average score level.

the results also show that there are non-statistically significant differences in the means according to gender on the identity crisis scale and a negative result on the psychological adjustment scale.

with these results, the first hypothesis was not verified, while the second and third hypotheses were verified.

the study is concluded by a number of suggestions and recommendations like to give importance to adolescents and their attitudes and help them discover their abilities.
