Abstract EN

This research examined the Argentine-Chilean dispute over the Beagle Canal, a border struggle for the acquisition of the Canal since the late nineteenth century, which reached its peak during the period (1971-1984).

In addition, the border conflict between the two countries was not the result of a particular crisis, but the result of any crisis between two neighboring countries over the possession of some islands under the pretext of geographical interpretation of the maritime passage mentioned in the eastern section.
