this study aims to define political poetry and explores its relationship to natural symbolism as well as its significance in the poetry of Tamim al-Bargouthi.

among the natural symbols we analyze are the deer, the bird, the sky, the dove, night and morning, which the poet loads with strong emotions and political meaning.
