Language planning is concerned with studying the problems facing the language towards generating and updating terminology, building and standardizing terminology.

it also means studying the problems that can hinder the language teaching process.

therefore, this study aims to highlight the importance of language planning and determine the place it has in the educational process, in addition to knowing his active role in developing the contents of school books, especially in Algeria, trying to focus on Arabic language books in the primary education stage; where we expect it to have an impact-positive in some aspects and negative in others-on writing textbooks.
