What is the perspective of Algerian law regarding the right to control one's own body?

Some medical and biological advances can influence the decision-making that a person can make about to dispose of one’s body.

these advances are sometimes a source of complexity in the relationship between the body and the law.

the legal recognition of euthanasia, artificial procreation, or the voluntary termination of pregnancy are all recurring examples and call for deep reflection on human existence and individual freedom.

the need to legislate on this point is therefore necessary.

jurisdictions around the world continue to place limits on the free disposal of the body.

even if these limits are often misunderstood, they are nevertheless issued for the interest of the person and of humanity.

the purpose of this study is to deal with this subject on the basis of some legislation and above all to situate the approach of the Algerian legislator to define the freedom of to dispose of one’s body.
