Abstract EN

The term privacy is a Flescible concept; the development of the personal information protection privacy legislation was coincided with the computer crimes legislations, as the electronic environment is consided the ultimate environment to violate the right of information privacy.

the problem of this study in an explanation of what is meant by the term personal information, and the most important legal, mechanisms devoted by the Algerian legislator to protect this right.

in order to answer this problem we first dixussed the concepet of personal information and cybercrime, finally on the legal protection of personal information.the research paper concludzd zith a set of results is that; the Algerian legislator ensuredthe protection of personal data in light of the technological development ; but rather was keen to protect the privacy of the individual by i,posing deterent penal for anyone who atempts to infringe the privacy of the individual.
