In this study we tried to highlights on the prominent role which he performing by the digital economy in achieving comprehensive and sustainable economic development and the extent to which Algeria keeps pace with technological developments taking place, especially in the economic field its involvement in spreading the digitization policy has been witnessed in recent years through the Algerian state’s dedication to the electronic management system as an initial step, and then entering the world of digitization as a subsequent step, especially with regard to the digitization of the national economy, which is what we find that the Algerian legislator sought it through the various laws he issued in this regard, which were embodied in institutional mechanisms we find some of them that are traditional and have been modernized and are represented here in administrative mechanisms and other economic services we also find that there are new ones that have been developed, namely control authorities responsible for monitoring and regulating the electronic communications sectors, as well as protecting personal data and information about individuals, all of this is only to establish milestones and then stimulate this economic and digital transformation in Algeria.
