The impact of the era of coronavirus (COVID-19)‎ pandemic on local finance: case study of the united states of America, England and Italy

The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of COVID-19 pandemic, the recent health crisis which hit the whole global economy, and showing its reflection on local finances.

local governments of the united state of America, England and Italy are some models of study, whereas the findings showed that the budget of the local authorities of these countries have driven to a deep crisis because of the pandemic which makes the economy growth slow as a result of quarantine restrictions, the decrease in the outcome of local revenues and the increase of expenditures volume in order to ensure the provision of necessary services to citizens.
