This article discusses the role of smart mobile apps in teaching Arabic to non-native Arabic speakers, as these apps have become mainstream in recent years.

to achieve this goal, the researcher provided a general description and analysis of many smart apps (Busuu, Arabits, AlifBee, Rosetta Stone) and highlighted their features to evaluate and show their advantages and disadvantages.

it is known that the evaluation is of great importance to identify the best and most appropriate options for the implementation and management of these applications, or to determine their inadequacy and exclude them for scientific reasons.
