The reality of implementing distance education in Algerian universities in the light of COVID 19: case study: the faculty of political science and international relations at the university of Algiers 3

Abstract EN

This research paper aims to assess the extent to which Algerian university institutions succeeded in implementing the distance education system in light of the spread of the coronavirus pandemic and the suspension of the attendance study as well as examine the advantages and challenges of this experience from the perspective of both professors and students.

this paper relies on the case study method by collecting data based on a questionnaire tool directed to students and professors of the faculty of political science and international relations at the university of Algiers 3, then analyzing the data using the SPSS software.

in the conclusion, the article comes with a set of recommendations and suggestions for developing and improving this system.
