The study aimed to assess Algeria's experience in the field of distance university education in the light of the coronavirus pandemic and its prospects for the future, the exceptional circumstances of the pandemic have been imposed by measures taken to confront it with a new pattern of university education, as an alternative to traditional attendance education that was adopted before the pandemic, the ministry of higher education had to direct Algerian universities towards the adoption of distance education, as a mechanism to ensure university education through various electronic media such as, Moodle and Google meet.
