The phenomenon of asylum is considered in public international law to be one of the oldest phenomena known to all of humanity, which is the case of individuals fleeing from one country to another.

The reason for this is their fear of persecution in their country, which may be due to political opinions, internal wars, etc., which is a challenge both in its dimensions.

And its internal and external trends, in addition to the fact that the idea of asylum itself in international law has not been defined by international agreements.

Therefore, protecting the rights of refugees will not survive unless the efforts of the international community are combined to provide support to them in all political, social and economic fields.

In addition, the international community is in urgent need of reviewing all international mechanisms in order to solve the refugee problem.
