Abstract EN

This critical approach attempts to search for the existing and dominant "psycho-narrative" dimensions in the novel (Zukak al-Jumjm) by the Iraqi novelist Bayat Maree, through an important path related to loneliness and loss.

upon finding these representations through important paths that were divided into two sections, the first : (representations of moral loss), as it included a number of representations related to loss such as asylum, widowhood, spinsterhood and personal alienation, while the second section, which was entitled (representations of sensory loss), included a parallel aspect to the methods of understanding loss and loneliness when we dealt with it in a lot of research and follow-up, the case of losing a husband, losing a brother, losing friends and loved ones.

the study included narrative representation through clear texts and then standing on the sensory and psychological induction areas of the characters that these representations infiltrate, because this dominant clearly contributed to determining the intellectual and psychological path of those characters and placed them under the pressure of loss to show a set of psychological behaviors reflected on narrative and general structure of the novel.
