Abstract EN

Despite complete control of cholesteatomatous disease following mastoidectomy, persistent draining ear represents a frustrating problem for both the physician and the patient with uncontrolled allergic conditions.

The cause of this problem resides in the atopic respiratory mucosa of the middle ear and eustachian tube.

In this article, the author describes a simple procedure to deal successfully with this problem.
