Abstract EN

The current research aims to verify the construction of a scale of coping strategies in multiple sclerosis (MS) patients, by calculating the stability, validity parameters of the coping strategies scale.

the study sample consisted of (112) patients with MS (38 male, and 74 female).

the study sample randomly select from Cairo, Giza multiple sclerosis units & MS care Egypt, the researcher conducted the statistical analysis for the data of the application of coping strategies scale on the sample of the study.

the results of the study revealed that the coping strategies scale has enjoyed acceptable reliability and validity coefficients.

thus, the psychometric characteristics of the scale (reliability and validity), were confirmed.

that confirms its efficiency in measuring the coping strategies for multiple sclerosis patients and confidence in the results of using it.
