Abstract EN

This research aims to reveal the effectiveness of a proposed unit in the theory of arguments in developing the skills of deductive thinking and philosophical writing; I have secondary school students, where the researcher prepared a book for the student and a guide for the teacher.

the student’s book included a number of topics and was implemented over a period of several weeks, with two lessons per week on a sample of (70) male and female students as an experimental group.

to measure the effectiveness of the proposed unit; the researcher prepared a test for deductive thinking skills, and a test for philosophical writing skills.

the results of the study after the pre and post applications of the study tools on the students of the experimental group revealed that there were statistically significant differences at the level of 0.01 between the mean scores of the two applications of pre and post applications of the research tools on the students of the experimental group in favor of the post application in the growth of deductive thinking skills as a whole as well as the growth of philosophical writing skills.

which indicates the effect of (the independent variable) the proposed unit on the level of development of (the dependent variable) skills of deductive thinking and philosophical writing.
