Abstract EN

Our study aimed to assess the levels of optimism and pessimism among graduating students.

we utilized a descriptive approach and employed Ahmed Abdel-Khalek's (1996) optimism and pessimism scale, which was administered to a sample of 100 graduating students.

the study findings revealed that the level of optimism was low and the level of pessimism was high among the graduating students.

furthermore, there were no statistically significant individual differences in the levels of optimism and pessimism attributed to gender.
