Abstract EN

The study aimed to reveal the relationship between the psychological needs of hearing-impaired adolescents and the annual academic achievement rate in mathematics for a sample of 30 educated adolescents with hearing impairments, whose ages ranged between 12 and 18 years.

we used the scale of psychological needs for hearing-impaired adolescents by Mousa Rashad (2009) and the achievement points in mathematics for the school season 2021 / 2022.

and the results were: there is a statistically significant correlation between the psychological needs and the annual academic achievement scores in mathematics for the study sample.

the level of psychological needs and academic achievement of the sample is above average.

there are no statistically significant differences in psychological needs due to the study variables.
