This study aims to analyze the social policies in Algeria, by addressing the real reasons why the government adopted this kind of policies, and the extent of its contribution to solving social problems, improving the living situation of citizens, raising purchasing power, and thus achieving social peace, and also between what these policies cost in economic terms, under the difficult economic conditions caused by the corona crisis and low fuel prices, and its repercussions on the state's general financial budget on the other hand.

social policies attempt to improve the social condition of citizens by adopting an effective public policy that takes into account the prevailing living conditions, and works to increase purchasing power and ensure decent living, taking into account the general economic conditions of the state, in a way that ensures achieving sustainable development and preserving the state’s general budget.

this will only be achieved by adopting integrated and balanced public policies that take into account all the economic, social and political conditions of the state, and work to eliminate various obstacles in this field.
