Objectives : the study aims to reveal the approach of imam al-salmi in the weighting between the apparently conflicting texts, and to show the extent of his agreement and disagreement with the rest of the fundamentalists, and does he have vocabulary that can be used to elicit legal rulings in modern contemporary issues! method : the method of induction and analysis is one of the main tools to reach the research results.

the study resorted to following the sayings of imam al-salmi in various sources and fatwas and standing on them, then analyzing and applying them to the various branches of jurisprudence in the various jurisprudential chapters.

results : the results of the study revealed that imam al-Salmi had a special theoretician approach in building fundamentalist rules, but in branching and application, he may not adhere to that because there is another audio evidence stronger in consideration and inference or because it is more appropriate and to achieve the purposes of Islamic law in bringing ease and lifting embarrassment, as the study revealed.

about how close or far the approach of imam al-salmi from the approach of the investigators of the fundamentalists in their various doctrines of fundamentalism and jurisprudence.

conclusion : the study concludes to the fundamentalist and jurisprudential queen that supported imam al-Salmi in reconciling the texts and weighting between them in the event of conflict or tie.
