في عالم اليوم الأكثر تعقيدا و تداخلا و عولمة، أصبحت مؤسسات التعليم العالي وكلاء رئيسيين و لاعبين أساسيين في العلاقات الدولية.
لقد كان التعليم العالي أداة مهمة للقوة الناعمة تمكنت من خلالها الدول من الوصول إلى الشعوب و التواصل معها و التأثير فيها .تمتلك دبلوماسية التعليم العالي، كمظهر للدبلوماسية المعاصرة، فاعلين و سياقات و آليات و أهداف و مناهجها الخاصة بها.
يحاول هذا المقال أن يلقي الضوء على المفاهيم الأساسية المتعلقة بدبلوماسية التعليم العالي و يوفر إطارا مفهوميا لفهم نطاقها و تعقيدها.
و يقدم نظرة محددة لاستكشاف الاختلافات المصطلحية لهذه المفاهيم .الهدف هو تعمیق فهم دبلوماسية التعليم العالي وإبراز آلیاتها، و نهجها، وفاعليها، و استراتيجيتها.
يعتمد المقال أدوات بحثية تشمل استعراضا منهجيا للدراسات السابقة و طريقة التحليل المفهومي و رسم خرائط مفاهيمية تساهم في توضيح و إبراز العلاقة بين هذه المفاهيم.

In today's more complex, interdependent, and globalized world, higher education institutions have become major agents and essential players in international relations.
higher education has been a significant soft power tool through which the world nations have been able to reach, connect, and influence the audience of other nations.
higher education diplomacy, as a demonstration of contemporary diplomacy, has its actors, contexts, instruments, objectives, and approaches.
this article tries to shed light on the basic concepts related to higher education diplomacy and provide a conceptual framework to understand its scope and complexity.
it brings a specific lens not only to examine the concepts but also to explore their terminological differences.
the aim is to deepen the understanding of higher education diplomacy and highlight its instruments, approaches, actors, and strategy.
the article adopts research tools including a systematic literature review, a conceptual analysis method, and conceptual mapping.

Dans le monde d'aujourd'hui, de plus en plus complexe, interdépendant et mondialisé, les établissements d'enseignement supérieur sont devenus des acteurs majeurs et essentiels dans les relations internationales.
L'éducation supérieure est un outil de soft power significatif à travers lequel les nations du monde ont pu atteindre, se connecter et influencer le public d'autres nations.
La diplomatie de l'enseignement supérieur, en tant que démonstration de la diplomatie contemporaine, possède ses acteurs, ses contextes, ses instruments, ses objectifs et ses approches.
Cet article cherche à éclairer les concepts de base liés à la diplomatie de l'enseignement supérieur et à fournir un cadre conceptuel pour comprendre son ampleur et sa complexité.
Il adopte une approche spécifique non seulement pour examiner les concepts, mais aussi pour explorer leurs différences terminologiques.
L'objectif est d'approfondir la compréhension de la diplomatie de l'enseignement supérieur et de mettre en évidence ses instruments, approches, acteurs et stratégie.
L'article adopte des outils de recherche comprenant une revue systématique de la littérature, une méthode d'analyse conceptuelle et une cartographie conceptuelle.
