The research studies Taha Hussein’s upbringing and his intellectual suspicions.

It attempts to answer the question: What is the impact of upbringing on refining Taha Hussein's intellectual personality? Objectives: To studyTaha Hussein’s scientific and intellectual journey (Subject One); to study Taha Hussein’s position from his contemporaryorientalists and modernists (Subject Two); and to study the renowned critical suspicions raised by Taha Hussein (Subject Three) The researcher has used inductive, deductive, and critical methods.

Results: Taha Hussein was clearly influenced by the most prominent orientalists such as Jack Burke and his supervisor Casanova, who praised him and raised his stature.

This earned Hussein a presence and high positions that raised his status in the Arab world, thanks to his ideas that emulate thoseholding to Western Enlightenment.
