The study aimed to leverage the integration of Japanese embroidery techniques "the Sashiko" and smocking, to enrich home furnishings and their accessories and to measure the acceptance level of experts and consumers towards the proposed designs for home furnishings and their accessories.

the study found that there is a correlation between the opinions of experts and consumers regarding innovative designs that were the outcome of the integration of Japanese embroidery techniques "the Sashiko" and smocks to enrich home furnishings and their accessories and design number (1) was recognized as the best design in terms of innovation, aesthetics, and functionality.

the researcher recommended conducting further studies and research on the art of Japanese embroidery and figuring out its application in various products, also the need to emphasize on the creative aspect of bedroom furnishings to enhance their value, and to pay attention to hand embroidery techniques and explore ways to develop them to align with modern times.
