Abstract EN

This study aims to clarify what is meant by linguistic derivation, both linguistically and idiomatically, and to show the effect of linguistic derivation in enriching the multiple interpretive meanings, in addition to clarifying the effect of linguistic derivation in weighting between the sayings of the commentators in the multiple interpretive meanings.

The researcher followed the inductive-analytical approach, in standing up to the Qur’anic vocabulary in which there are many explanatory sayings and referring to their etymological origin, revealing the connection of these sayings with the etymological origin, and clarifying the most correct of them, and the closest to the meaning of the verse.

The study reached a number of results, the most important of which are: 1) Language in general and linguistic derivation in particular is an important rule of weighting between explanatory sayings, and the statement of the weak from the fat from the sayings, and what is the first in the interpretation of the noble verse.

2) Linguistic derivation contributes to enriching and multiplying the meanings and meanings of the Quranic verses 3) The saying that the etymological origin favors is consistent with the context of the noble verse.
