Abstract EN

This study will examine, following a comparative methodology, the issue of beneficiary's revocation of a Timeshare Contract in the Saudi Law, in four chapters.

The study will also comprise an introduction in which the concept of time-sharing is defined.

The first chapter of the study discusses the nature of the option to withdraw from the contract, defines it and reveals its justifications, most importantly : providing adequate protection to the beneficiary by ensuring his complete satisfaction based on foresight and deliberation in the matter of concluding the contract.

Then, I will identify the properties of the revocation decision; it is a temporary and free option approved by the law and it is a discretionary right of the beneficiary.

Afterwards, I will explain the legal nature of the option to withdraw.

The second chapter of the study reveals the legal basis of the option to withdraw the contract; recommending making a Cancelable Contract.

The third chapter reviews the controls on exercising the right to withdraw a contract, including the timeshare contract, which should be done by sending a written notice to other parties within the time limit identified.

The fourth chapter of the study highlighted the effects of exercising the right of revocation, on both parties of the contract.
