Abstract EN

This research seeks to stop at the book (Dictionary of Women Poets in Pre-Islamic Age and Islam) by (Abdul Muhanna), in which there is a mention of Arab poets from the pre-Islamic era until the sixth century ah.

as the number of their verses in it was "4052" verses distributed between stanzas, stanzas and poems, we dealt with this research through several axes represented in : providing a quick and comprehensive overview of the book, introducing it, and the approach followed by its author in terms of : (singling out the poems, their sequence, and the difficulties which she encountered while collecting them), and his view of the ancients' presentation of her and her literature.

and provide comprehensive statistics for all the verses contained therein.

as well as the view of scholars and writers of women's hair, some of them presented women and considered her opinion and poetry, such as al-Nabigha al Dhubyani and Ibn Al-Atheer.

and some of them saw the opposite, such as Bashar Bin Burd, and al-Akkad.

we also dealt with the various names given to women's hair and their definitions of it, and previous studies of women's hair.
