Abstract EN

This study aims at identifying the class administration problems among teachers of primary schools in Misurata center, in addition to reveal the impact of specialty, scientific qualification, sex and years of experience variables.

the population of the study consisted 239 male and female teachers of primary schools, Misurata center, distributed to five schools according to statistics provided by education control administration, Misurata municipality.

the sample of the study comprised 60 male and female teachers represents %25 of the study population, selected randomly.

the two researchers used a questionnaire included 33 items, and a 3-category rating scale, distributed to three categories, the first category: teacher-related problems.

second category: pupil-related problems, and the third category: school atmosphere and class-related problems.

the reliability of the questionnaire has been confirmed by presenting it to a set of arbitrators, and the validity of internal consistency has been extracted.

both researchers used Cronbach’s alpha for the categories of the questionnaire whereas the total degree of reliability is 0.792, also; the SPSS has been used in analyzing the data.

both researchers reached to following results by answering the main question: what are the classroom problems among primary school teachers? considering the total average of each category, it is obvious that the first category represents teacher-related problems, with an average of 1.95, reflecting a medium degree on the classroom management problems among primary school teachers.

the second category reveals pupil-related problems, with an average of 2.19, mirroring medium degree of classroom management problems among primary school teachers.

classroom's atmosphere- and school-related problems, as shown in the third category; scored an average of 2.27, reflects a medium degree on the classroom management problems among primary school teachers.

it is obvious that the three categories scored an average of 2.13, to display the medium degree of the classroom management problems among primary school teachers.
